Brief info

Dr. Rodney Padgett graduated from University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. Dr. Padgett is originally from Pickett County. He attended undergraduate at Tennessee Tech University in Cookeville, Tennessee prior to being accepted into veterinary schools. After graduation, he worked as a mixed animal veterinary practitioner for 2 years at Seymour Veterinary Clinic. In 2005, Dr. Padgett moved to Blountville with his wife and fellow veterinarian, Dr. Tracy Padgett. He worked as a small animal practitioner at Jonesborough Animal Hospital for 14 years. He joined our team at Paws of Hope Animal Wellness Center in May of 2020. Dr. Padgett and his wife have two wonderful sons, Avery and Nicholas. He spends much of his free time helping to coach his youngest son's travel baseball team. He also loves playing basketball, racquetball, fishing, and hiking. His family enjoys the company of two dogs (Rose & Charleigh), one cat (Scramble), a corn snake (Buddy), and ten chickens.
